29.80. Menu. 83 I have had Dr. Morris's poney to ride now & then in the evening the day spent in reading eating sleeping. This morning at six left for Kyouk Phyoo. took the passage between the Barouges but encountering a heavy sea & severe squall at the entrance to Cambermere Bay we put back & took the passage through the Creeks.
Augt. 11th. 1858.
During the last three day[s] we have been on the passage through the Creeks we passed through great forests > & hills of jungle. Mrs Cales Leut Yuniam Dr. Morris & Mr Bisehat & [being struck through] Mr Johnson being passengers. today we anchored in Kyouk Phyoo harbour & fired a gun.

This day one year ago I left Scotland & was just making the remark to some friends in

some very fine french songs. Rested a little after 12 & got on board at 1/2 past 12. Johnson in a wax about being told that Sambo said he was a heavy handed sinner.
August 26th. 1858.
This morning weighed anchor at 5 oclock & left Kyauk Phyoo we had some heavy rolling crossing Cambermere Bay, three seas crossing in different directions. Mrs. Eales very seasick on the passage. Baby much better after 2 days severe illness. had a fine day for the passage it was very warm in passing between the Barningas Anchored in Akyab Harbour a little after three in the afternoon. Went ashore with Dibbs in the eveg. Called at Capt. Eales & Harpers Capt. asked me to dine but
