after next we will have a series of examinations (regular final examinations) although we have three months more to go here — and I don't look forward to them with any great anticipation.

By the way I note that you are contemplating finishing your medical course in the East. I think that that would be a very wise things to do, and I suppose that Harvard is your best bet. Did I tell you that I met Walter Shilling in New York, at the Commodore, and he told me that he was talking medicine at Harvard and liked it very much indeed. You might write to him & get the dope. I go to Columbia next year myself so we might see one another once in a while.

I am trying to urge father & mother to take a three months trip to Europe. Don't you think that it would be an excellent plan? Prices are awfully [crossed out: cheap] low there now. Best of luck. Dick.
