Lieut. Theodore Banks who was athletic officer at Regimental headquarters when we were in Weis by Engers played quarterback on [our - crossed out] Michigan's football team here last fall, and made quite a name for himself.

I can not help but redream of our good old days back in Germany. They are something which we can not forget as they were too big of an event in our lives. Every now and then a bull-shit session is held in my room among the four of us in the house who were overseas. Do you remember the hot "fan-tan" games we held in your tent while awaiting to sail on the Imperator?

I haven't had a chance to look up your cousin yet, but will. I imagine you are still in medical school examining urine and the other bodily excretions. My brother is a sophomore medic this year.

Let me again thank you old man for your kind remembrance, and please do lets keep in touch with each other now and then.
