more sheets of this, and as I had several envelopes left, you will receive some more of it.

Last night Mr. Hall & Kitty Hall came over for a little while. Martha & Joc could not come down. I stayed a little while then your Father brought me home. Mr. Nash, John, and Dot were at the house. After I got into bed I did my English and Anthro.

I wonder how my old sweetie is to-night. How I wish I could see you, you dear kid. I just love you so much, but you know that don't you. Be a good boy.

As ever,

Marion.

say to me, but I know that you don't mean half of them, and one thing I hope and that is that you love me. Sometimes I am afraid that I love you too much and that something will happen to spoil it. I think it would just break my heart because I just think the world of you, dear.

Joc, Mother & dad arrived about 8:30 last night. Of course we were glad to see them. Mr. Field & Mr. Hall came down yesterday, they left Alameda about 1:30 P.M. and wanted to bring you down with them but said you were not home yet.

Friday night Mrs. Hall, Mrs. Field, Kitty & Palmer came over. We played games & had lots of fun.

Mabel & I are going to walk up to the P. O. now. Be a good boy, dear, & don't forget that I love you dearly. Hope you had a nice week-end.

As ever, Marion.

Send you next letter to Alameda, dear.

Mr Shires among these & Marguerite to the latter said that we could "trust Edward to choose a nice girl" and to tell you that when you come out here they will do their best to give you both a "good time". Mr. Hall wired you congratulations & so did Aunt Eleanor. Joc – Father & I jointly & severally. Effie has been with us a few days & she wished to send hers so I hope you got plenty so that you could feel we were all wishing you the best in the world.

It was kind of Dr. McAuliffe to entertain you or for you I suppose
