Came past the theatre about ten last night so inquired for letters, and was glad to get one from you.
I wish we had been able to play San Diego but luck was against us. As for Camp Cody! It just happens to be on the outskirts of Deming. We walked out to the edge of the camp one day but couldn't go in because we didn't have a pass.
As for Deming! We're glad to be out of it. It's a dusty, inhospitable little town with no diversion at all. We only had one matinee the

Most of the people are a nice good hearted crowd. All one has to do is to be civil to them. Each act is separate & you appear during the preceding act, go on do your bit and that's all.
The review sounded fine. I saw a small notice in the Okla. City paper about it, mentioning especially, the airo planes [airplanes] appearing & circling overhead. I certainly wish you luck too and hope your commission will be forthcoming all right and that you will get a good appointment.
