Dear Sir,

The Committee on Lots have considered your application to know for what sum the Corporation will assume the perpetual care of the Fessenden Lot, No. 777, in Mount Auburn, after the fence shall have been renewed, and a new die set to the monument, as suggested by you; and have instructed me to inform you that they will contract therefor for the sum of ($150) one hundred and fifty dollars.

Dear Sir,

I have ascertained that Benj. Haynes, in whose name I recently issued a deed of lot No 3162 in the Cemetery of Mount Auburn, died some time prior to the date of s^d deed - to wit - in July last, and the deed is consequently void.

I presume you did not anticipate the effect of a deed thus surviving to him. If you will bring the deed to me at your early convenience, I will see how we can remedy the difficulty.

The record of the last meeting was read. _
