Rhine? Don't believe you would know the place now. The classrooms are jammed, people hurrying around every where! Last year it was so dead and gloomy but heavens! This year the old Jef is back again good and strong. Foot-ball has started and the fellows are all showing great enthusiasm in all athletics.

My schedule is a pretty full one now: Peace Issues, History IB, History 181B, Hygiene '6, and Public Speaking keep Miss Marie Kinkelin continually on the go. My Public Speaking class is a wonder though making speeches all the time! There are over 700 students enrolled in that Peace Issues course so from that you can judge the size of our classes.

San Francisco is the same wonderful city. I haven't been home to 840 Powell though for just ages. My Aunt & Uncle are both in New York and my sister has been South several months. She intends to go to
