Saml T Snow Esq Chairman of the Committee on Lots

Dear Sir

The annual average cost per square foot of keeping the sod in order, including top dressing and all repairs of sod on lots under the perpetual Care of the Corporation is as follows,

Perpetual Care with Guaranty lots (all of which are in the old Cemetery and many of which have very steep terraces) average of six years 1873-1878 on 96,365 square feet - 3 2/3 cents

Perpetual Care of Grass lots (mostly on the Stone Farm, or on Althea & Clethra paths under Landscape Lawn restrictions) Average of three years 1876-1878 on 38,576 square feet - 2 3/8 cents

Equivalent to all average of 3 1/3 cents in any part of the Cemetery.

Respectfully J.W. Lovering
