We wish the order of Michael Kennard, now of late of Watertown, for interment by you in his lot no. 974, Sept. 5, 1863, of John H. W. Stevens. We have the city permit.

Wanted also the city of Chelsea permit for interment of Mary Stokes, Sept. 8/63 in lot of late David R. Brown, no. 2417.

Please get and send us the north Chelsea permit for the interment of Cyrus T. Clark Jr. on the 3^d of Sept/63 in lot no. 515 represented by E. Q. Tirell. We have the order of Mr. Tirrell, but not the town permit. Send to me, not to the gate.—

I am informed by H. Kennard Esq that Michael Kennard, prop^r of lot no. 974 in Mt Auburn was your father, and that he died many years since.

I find upon reference to our interment records that Michael Kennard died on the 15^th of August 1845, but unfortunately for title to this lot that event was 15 days before the date of the deed to the proprietor, in that if he was the person intended the deed would be void.

Will you please to call and see me, as we are making up a new catalogue, and should like to get this matter right.
