Dear Edward:

Didn't see much of you while I was home, did I? Not your fault though as you did try to once or twice.

I was awfully busy though. Went to the city every day but one and that day I was busy all the time and went to the Orpheum in the afternoon.

Nothing exciting has happened since I've been back – Seems ages since I was home. Saw my dear friend Jack Kerrigan friday and he kept turning around and smiling and beckoning to me all the way up State Street for a ways while I was going into a store.
