these proprietors as to the manner of setting the curb, or the position of the lot, in consequence of which the work was stopped, and still stands un-- finished. The proprietors state that they have been unable to come to any terms with the Superintendent, and wish now to take their appeal to the Trus-- tees. I have instructed them that your Committee, by the By laws, have jurisdiction in the matter, if they see fit to apply to you.
Mr Stickney will state the facts for the proprietors in such manner as you desire. Of course the Supt will desire to be heard.
Accompanying this is a tracing from our plan of the position of the lots with respect to the Avenue, which I will say was fixed some time after purchase, upon the new survey, by finding these lots without bounds, and may therefore deviate from the original position. --

Dear Sir,
Your application to know for what sum this Corpor-- ation would contract to keep in perpetual repair your lot, numbered 580 in the Cemetery, situated upon the avenue or way called Indian Ridge Path, has been reported to the Committee on Lots and duly considered by them, and they have directed me to notify you that they will recom-- mend the Corporation to assume said obligation for the sum of four hundred and fifty dollars.
When ready to pay over the funds, please notify me and I will prepare the necessary papers.

Fountain Av. change in laying out of.
The President having exhibited a plan for a change in the laying out of Fountain Av., prepared under the advice of the Superintendent, and recommended by the Committee on Grounds, it was
Voted, – that the laying out of Fountain Av. be, and the same is hereby modified in such manner as to conform to the plan exhibited to this Board, prepared by the Superintendent, and recommended by the Committee on Grounds

Fountain Av. estd cost of completing bank upon.
A communication from the Superintendent dated , and addressed to the President, giving the estimated cost of completing the bank on Fountain Avenue from the East side of Lot #580 to Lot #2919, was submitted by him as chairman of the Committee on Lots as and for a report from that Committee; and it was
Voted, – that the same be accepted and placed on file.
In the absence of the chairman of the Com. on Lots the following communication was submitted by Mr Perkins in behalf of said Committee; viz;
Relocation of Lots numbered 4240 & 111
"Lot #4240 has been posted to include but 277 feet, instead of 300 feet as paid for. In correcting the lines a change from those given on the deed is asked for, to which the Superintendent sees no objection.
"The Committee therefore request that the Secretary be authorized to receive a deed from the proprietor thereof for the purpose of issuing to him a new deed as re-located, under direction of the Committee on Lots."
"Lot #111 at the junction of Central and Beech Avenues projects one corner nearer to the Avenue than the other. The proprietor desires to re-locate it by swinging the whole Lot, pivoted on the other front corner to the extent of about one foot back. The committee ask like authority for the Secretary, subject to their approval." And it was
