leave your bed for any purpose whatever (if it is "flue") [flu] I was told that the Catholic Priest announced to his congregation here - that if they had that disease they must not leave their beds (to go to the toilet --- no matter how much they needed to do so - ) That is why a nurse is so necessary No one should try to care for themselves if they have it, for that is one of the very necessary rules laid down I understand - the danger of chill & the heart weakness is so great. Uncle Jim says he believes that was what caused Uncle Authur's death --- He had a nurse but she was deaf & when he asked her for something She did not hear so he got up & got it
