to pay to this Corporation a bequest of three hundred dollars contained in said will for the purpose of keeping said lot in perpetual repair and preservation, and that they had accepted the same subject to the concurrence of this Board.

Upon motion by Mr Read,

Voted that this Board approve the acceptance of said sum for the above named purpose.

Lot 1331 _ Represente

Upon the petition of the heirs at law of Nathaniel Daniels, deceased, late proprietor of lot no. 1331. Edwin T. Daniels of Somerville, eldest son of said Nathaniel, was designated to represent said lot.

Lot 1370 Represente

Upon the petition of the children and heirs at law of Eleazer Nichols, deceased, late proprietor of lot No. 1370, Abigail Nichols, widow of said Eleazer, of Boston was designated to represent said lot.

Resignation of Mr Curtis as member of Com. on Lots-

Mr Curtis tendered his resignation as a member of the Committee on Lots, and said resignation was laid upon the table until the next meeting.

The meeting was then adjourned, Attest Austin J. Coolidge, Secy

Sec'y. instructed to reply to above communication

Voted, – that the Secretary be instructed to reply to the letter from the Publishers of the Transcript dated this day, informing them that the Board of Trustees have never taken any official action in respect to the publications referred to.

Statement, &c. of Treasurer to Referred to Com. on Finance.

The Treasurer having submitted his Statement for the 3d quarter ending , together with Trial Balances for the same date, it was

Voted, – that the above papers be referred to the Committee on Finance.

Upon the petition of the parties in interest representatives were designated for Lots as follows; – viz:

471 Thomas H. H. Messinger of Stamford, Conn., residuary Trustee of George W. Messinger deceased proprietor of Lot numbered Four Hundred and seventy-one.

497 Susan S. Lombard of Boston, daughter of Israel Lombard, deceased proprietor of Lot numbered Four hundred and ninety=seven.

1331 Nathaniel A. Daniels of Somerville, son of Nathaniel Daniels deceased proprietor of Lot numbered Thirteen hundred and thirty-one.
