Your note is received. Mrs. Warren arranged for the removal of the fence, but she gave no orders in regard to headstones, or foundations for them. The foundations will be built as you direct.

The Committee on Lots, have instructed me to inform you that this Corporation will guarantee the perpetual repair of lot no 1124, Ailanthus Path, belonging to your late father's Estate, on payment of four hundred and fifty dollars.

When notified by you of your acceptance of this sum, I will prepare the necessary papers.

Mrs. S.D. Warren Waltham Mass,

I have seen Mr Don Carlos Ayer, a jeweler in Hanover St., who is the proprietor of the lot you refer to as at the left of your own -- no. 2094.

He says he is willing the branch which extends over your own lot should be cut off, or that the tree should be trimmed up as much as the Superintendent may think necessary; but he does not wish at present, to entirely part with the tree. When the roots get more extended, and it interferes with burial purposes, he thinks, it may have to be cut down. --
