Your communication respecting a new boiler to the engine was this morning referred to the Comee on Grounds.
The Comee held a meeting after the meeting of the Board, and adjourned to meet at this place, next Saturday at 12 o'clock, noon. -- I am directed by the Chairman to notify you to be present here at that hour. --

Dear Sir:
Please revise your Report on Mr Upton's lot. State on 1st page what number of headstones. I seldom save the second leaf of the start in filing the reports -- but if you wish to refer to these on the 1st page, I will file the second leaf with the first. In that case say, "described on fly leaf." Also, note the amount for which you think the lot should be taken.
Examine & report on lot 3772 -- Mrs Sarah E. De Graske. -- I send blank ^filled on far as I have any knowledge of lot. --
Also report on 582, Jos. E. Worcester. Also on the others, before asked for. --

Dear Sir,
The application to know for what sum the Corporation will guarantee the perpetual repair of lot no. 582 belonging to the estate of Joseph E. Worcester, decd, has been laid before the Comee with the usual report on said lot: and the Comee after personal inspection of the premises, have directed me to notify you of their decision -- & that the Corporation will assume such perpetual repair for the sum of four hundred and fifty dollars, when the Supt shall have certified that the lot is in good order. The Supt reports that "the front bank requires new grading, which will cost $12.00". --

Dear Madam,
The application to know for what sum the Corporation will guarantee the perpetual repair of your lot, no. 3772, has been laid before the Committee, who after a personal examination of the premises, have directed me to notify you that the Corporation will contract with you for such perpetual repair, on payment of one hundred and fifty dollars.
When you are ready, I will prepare the necessary contract.

Contract for Perpetual Repair of Lot 3572 _
He also reported that the Committee had contracted for the perpetual repair of lot numbered thirty five hundred and seventy two ^(Georgeana Haliburton) for the sum of two hundred dollars. _
Voted that said contract be concurred in.
A communication from the Superintendent having been addressed to the Trustees when no quorum was present, requesting the Board to consider the expediency of erecting a house for the propagation of plants, and the same having been informally brought before the Committee on Grounds, the Committee through Mr Read, recommended the following vote: _ which was adopted.
$700 appropriated for plant propagating house _
That a sum not exceeding seven hundred dollars be hereby appropriated for the erection of a plant propagating house in connection with the flower conservatory.
Representation of Lots –
Upon the petition of the parties in interest representatives were designated for the several lots in connection with which they are named as follows: _
582 Frederick A. Worcester of Townsend, brother of Joseph E. Worcester, decd propr of lot numbered 582;
1732 Jona Fiske Moore of Boston, son of Revd Martin Moore, decd propr of lot numbered 1732;

The Committee on lots reported that they had contracted with the Trustees under the will of William Lawrence for the perpetual repair of lot numbered 489 for One thousand dollars.
Voted. That said contract be ratified.
Perpetl Repair of Lot 582
The same Committee also reported that they had contracted with the Executors of Joseph E Worcester for the perpetual repair of lot numbered 582 for four hundred and fifty dollars.
Voted. That said contract be ratified.
