a dramm in black cherry water fasting
vse it for thirty dayes together

Parris, or of the Berries thereof attonce
drunk fasting for one & twenty dayes
together: Those Mirobalanes which are
called Embellici; purge corrupt flegme
out of thye head & strengthen the Vitall

Vomitting of blood to stay
TakeRp of the seeds; The Iuices of Sage drunk
with honey stayes it incontinently

TakeRp of the seeds of Cucumber, Citrons, [Gewords]
Mellons Mallows, Purslane and white poppy
of Each a dram of thye fflowers of Cammock or
Restharrow & of Violetts Bole armoneack [spodiuiu]
Gum Arabick, & Gumdragonce, of each 6 drams
sugar the weight of all the rest, make them
all into fine powder, and take thereof in posset
drink

For a Consumption

Take the topps or flowers of Rosemary
flowers of Burage, Buglas Marigolds & red roses
the leaves of red sage violet; cinquefoyle Lunge
wort Liverwort, Marioram, water cresses scurvy
grass, Ribwort, red comfrey, and red nettle
topps of each one handfull; The roots & seeds
of ffennell, and of Peony; of each once ounce;
calves feet blanched one paire; an old red Cock
prepared, with his stones & feet, the knockle of
thye Legg, and a cragg end of a neck of Mutton;
break thye bones of the flesh; wash; swing, dry, and
bruise the herbls; and beat the seeds, boile them all
in 5 gallons of running water unto thye halfe, then
add unto the strained Liquor thereof, browne sugar
candys in powder, one pound; large Mace; white
pepper, graines of paradise, all finely beaten of
