& then mixe the syrope & water in a clean Basone &
if ther by any smal water remaining you may keep it
for children it is good for fitts & for melancholly
fumes I use to put alsoe an ounce of saffron into
the Flowers & 4 handfuls of yong Bawm dryed
the Lady smock blows in Aprel & may & grows in
medows and bears a white Flower inclind to redish
with 4 leaves also flowers of Fumatory

X An Electuary for the Lungues L
Six ounces of raisins of the sun stoned beat
fine with 4 ounces of brown suger candy 8
ounces of old conserve of Red Roses & 24 drops
of oyl of Brimston & 12 of oyl of vittrol
beat them very well & adde to it powder of
olibanum an ounce take as much as a wal
nutt night & morning

Snayle water for a consumption
A qtr of a peck of shel snayls washt in 3
waters beat them & put them in a stil with
2 quarts of new milk an ounce of cynomon
a handful of mint take halfe a pint sweetned
with Barbery suger twice a day

For a Chine Cough
mares milk to give the child is a certaine
cure I have [heared] whatsoever is good for convultions
is good for that cough

Mrs Hides Powder for a Cough of the Lungs
Powder of sulphir of Fox Lungues prepared & of
Licorish an a 2 ounces brown suger candy
4 ounces or more Powder of elucampane 4
drams powder of Annis seeds an ounce take
as much as will lye on a groat often especialy
morning & night cary it in yr Pocket

A Fume to be taken in a Pipe
Guaicum mastick olibanum Amber coltsfoot
wood Bittony to an ounce of every one of thes 2
drops of oyl of Annisseeds some skinns of pistacha
nutts take it 2 or 3 times in a day alsoe snayle
milk a pint of milk snayls pickt out of ther shels &
boyled til the milk be thick then put in a
spoonful of red rosewater & sweetned with
suger drink to the breakfast

A Broth by Dr Bates
An ounce of china roote infused in 6 pints of
water a Knuckle of veal a handful of Rasins
stand a little mace and a handful of Lungwort
take a mess to breakgasy the fume of a lime Kil
is good alsoe to fume the cap or put in the pann
yu warme your Bed with not exersise an hower

best
