An excellent Cordial water

Take of thes cordial Flowers 4 handfuls a pece
Violets Rosemary Cowslip single walflower Rose solus
Lilly con vally single Piony Lady smock Borrage Buglos
Red & Damask Roses Double, Pinks Thime Lime tree
Mary Gold sweet Scabious Bittony woodsorrel Dragon
scorzonera Clove July Flower clary Lavander Poppy mint
sage orang Flower or leaves or any other cordial Flower
you can think of also thes Blossoms the same quantity
of the Pearmame or pipin walnutt Peach white Rose
that blows in september caled the musk Rose vine
{Blosoms} Angelico rootes 4 ounces Polipodium of the oake or
pound slice the rootes & put thes flowers as they are
in season into a larg Bottle with 3 gallons of sack
keep it stopt close but let it be big enough other
wise the ferment of the wine & Flowers will break
it put in also 4 ounces sinomon the same of
sweet Fennel seed & nuttmeg & cardamum seeds
all brused the peels of 12 oranges & the same of
lemons when thes have stood 3 or 4 days after
ther being all mixed then strain them well out
& put 3 gallons more of sack to them & stil the
Flowers & the new sack & stil the old sack
wherin the Flowers steeped by it selfe for when
you have drawn of as much water as you please
you may take out the sack boyle it up with a
little sugar give it for electuarys for consumption
night & morning a spoonful. when you
have drawn your waters mixe them strong with
the smal till it be the strength of sack or a
little stronger & put to every quart a drop of oyl
of cinomon & a drop of spirit of Amber greica & the folowing
syrup
