3 pints of salet oyle or 2 pound of unsalted Butter straine it
& annoynt the knotts on the ribbs & Joynts & Breast therwith
if it be narrow keep warme

a spoonful of Annisseeds as much as two walnutts of Liquorish
2 handfuls of Liverwort i0 leaves of Hartstong the black
streaks taken out of the back side 2 handfuls of maidenhare
boyle thes to 3 pints give the child noe other
drink once in a day or 2 or 3 give a spoonful of ssyrope of
sicory with ruberb in Beer in the morning fasting
before you begin either the drink or oyntment give a little
ruberb steeped all night in Beer so as to purge it 3
times a day for 3 days Aprel & september are good
months to bleed a child behind the eares with a leach
and to purge in butt hotter weather is better for
the oyntment
