At a previous meeting of the Council, your honorable body decided to erect a Central Fire Hall adjoining this building on the north,not to exceed in cost, The Thousand dollars.
The Architect in charge was instructed by his honor the Mayor and your joint Committee, to prepare two sets of plans, one for a stone and the other for a brick building.
These plans have been ocmpleted and subject to the inspection of the Council since June 1st lastl Believing that further delay in begining the construction of this much needed building is unneccessary; We your Committee repectfully recommend that the plans and specificattions covering the stone building be adopted, and that the Building Committee be authorized to advertise for bids immediately, and report to this Council at its next regular meetings.
