Gentlemen:
The undersigned is compelled to move his photo galary from #610 Houston Street to give place for the erection of a new building and would ask your honorable body to allow him to remove his building to #804 Houston Street- past north of the Hirshfield building If said permit is granted. I hereby agree to take said building out of the fire limits immeditely after the erection of my new building at the corner of 6th and Houston Streets, said new building to be erected for me by Mr. Joseph Mayer in the next six weeks or two months: If you can this accommodation it will enable me to remain in business during the next two months, which would otherewise cause me great financial lose.

Gentlemen
At a former metting of this council I was instructed to buy a team of mules for the street department of this city. I reported to the Council that I could buy a good pair of mules at Bowie Texas for the sum of $150.00 and freight & expenses $12.80 making a total of $162.80
I beg to report that I have bought the mules mentioned above and for the price mentioned and have delivered same to street commissioner Lahey.
