Carnegie Public Library, M.A.Spoonts, President. (Mrs.) Charles Scheuber, Librarian. Forth Worth, Texas.

March 29, 1902.

To the Mayor and the City Council of Fort Worth:

Believing that a closer relationship should exist between the city of Fort Worth and the Public Library, and that it is but just and proper that the city should have representation on the board of trustees, it is our wish that the City Council authorize the Mayor to nominate three persons to be electec to positions on said board.

At an annual meeting of the Association to be held on the first Tuesday in April, three vacancies will be left, and an adjourned meeting will be held for the purpose of filling said vacancies by the trustees nominated by the city.

By order of the board of trustees,

Mr. J.C. Terrell, Secty.
