To the Hon City Council of the City of Fort Worth
Your Petitioner Charles Shands, respectfully shows , That heretofore on to-wit ________ day of ___________he purchased from the City of Fort Worth a piece of ground to-wit a burial lot in the n new Cemetery. That afterwards on to-wit the ______________ the City seized, took possession of, said burial lot and appropriated the same to its own use to-wit for the purpose of burying paupers.
That the City by way of compromising the damages sustained by petitio nerag ner agreed to relinquish to petitioner the Taxes on his prop-erty, which agreement has never been complied with by the City.
That the City is attempting to enforce the collection of the Taxes agreed to be paid by the City.
Wherefore Petitioner prays thatthis petition be received unknown words and that he be granted a hearing and an opor oportunity to submit evidence showing the entire transaction.
