on him for £27.9.6/2 being the amount of the Ball'ce due on the
Bill on Mr Sam'l Hewes, as Wimble is safe arriv'd with you, doubt
not its being duly honord. I am

Your fav'r of 22:d April last is now before me
observe the reason you did not answer my Letter sooner, am glad to hear
your Family have recoverd their Health. am fearful shall not be able
to get any of Flyings Debt, as the General Court has not done anything
with the Petition I preferd to them, should I receive anything shall
observe your orders in the Division of it with Mr Bostwick unless I
find it in his power to Compell me to do otherwise, there is no prospect
of recovering anything of Lotham McLain or Cap:t Gaylor, Note your
sentiment on the Issue of your affair with the Forleys wish it had
gone the other way, Inclos'd herewith is Copy of the Case, also your Acco'tt
Curr'tt Ball'ce in your fav'r £7.15.7/4 Lm'o which I keep in my
hands as I may have some demands on me from Portsmouth arising
from the Suits with Flyng, youll see by the Acco'tt Curr'tt that I have
remitted Mr Jacob Franks £53.6.8 Lm'o for your Acco'tt it gives
me concern that the affairs you left with me turn out so unfortun-
nately, but can assure you I have done everything in my power to
serve your interest & shall in future, as well in the affair unsettles
as any you may commit to my Care, I am

me in Feb:y 1764 to pay Abraham Lansing [h?]
