Consign'd Us, in whom we Shipt abount ahundred & Fifty {hogsheads} of Sugar
otherwise we Venture to Say we should have been the largest Shippers
of any of our friends Including what we have now on board.

We are now to Apprize You that we have Sold of Your Adventure
Twenty four pces of Your holland Duck, Six pces of Lubeck ditto about
Twenty pces of 3/4 & all Your 7/8 Garlicks at the price Underneath; thô
we must Inform You Each Purchaser of the Garlicks Complain of their
very high Charge, & several late Chaps who have been our Old Custom:
ers won't be wound up to fifty {per} Cent, tho' they know that's the Common
Advance of most Linnens there.

We are at this juncture Extreamly Plung'd for a Medium of Trade
Our Cash being nigh Exhausted, & we must freely Say for what we have
yet Sold of Your Merchand:z, we have not yet Receiv'd Ten pounds in ye
Whole, thô we have now Remitted You, Ten very Choyce {hogsheads} of Mosc:o
Sugar (such as we Conjecture Scarce any in Your Ship will Parallel)
which we don't Mention with any Regret, but only to let You know that
now, if ever our Times are at their Full Crisis of Discouragement, so that
we Imagine they must necessarily Mend.

We can only further Wish Your Ship a properous & Successfull Voy:
age & that our Conduct may have Your Approbations.

Spateman Commander of the King of Great Brittain in whom we have
Shipt Twenty five {hogsheads} of Musc:o Sugar upon Your own Account (as {per} bill
of Loading now Inclosed You) which we Wish & hope may Meet an
Encouraging price & we are Inclined to believe will Accrue to Your
Interest by reason Each Quality is really good at the Rate we purchased,
Especially as its yet Early. (Our Crop being much later by reason of Un:
seasonable weather) & not above one half of our Sugars yet Exported
which may Serve to Encourage You Speedy Vend of the whole
