Plenty of botanical work the past week. New cases come
to-morrow. Letters from Mr. Bebb & Dr. Morong. The
latter improving encouragingly. Bebb happy —
My Amarnathus & Sagittarias at last have
come back from St. Louis & Lake Forest.
Oiled by wheel this P.M. and put graphite & oil
on the chain and took a spin to Arlington &
back, visiting Robinson at Herb. The warm weather
of the past 5 days has done wonders. No. Ave. dusty.
Distance 8 1/2 m. Pleasant talk with Robinson.

Glorious weather mild. Road drying finely. Wheeled
to school & back to-day. 9 1/2 m. This P.M. Mr. Robinson
brought up my new cases. They are fine and
they will ease up things a good deal. The two
cases with their 24 holes, each 6 in .high cost $16.
He also brought up a little table for the study.
