Jack Hallowell, and called on his Father & Mother. Dame was out.
Mounted plants to-day. My Pinguiculas are a mass of bloom
all 3 species. It is a great treat.

Fine day. Wheeled to Pope Mfg. Co. to get a squeak located.
Called on the P.M. They had taken the bearings apart, and
found them very dry. All right now. Wheeled to Ella Lord and
saw them both. Then through Fens and home by Harv. Bridge
12 1/2 m. in all. Called with Volkman at Dudley's to
look at an Imperial. Also looked in at the Victor's.
Letters from Miss Heading, Coulter, Miss Pettibone, and
a package from Sandberg.

Glorious day. Wheeled to school, taking a circuit of the Fens.
Wheeled out to the Bot. Museum to a Comm. Meeting with
Messrs. Peabody & Hunnewll, Dr. Goodale met us and
we visited the boys at their work in Botany 1 & 3
and also students doing special work. We also went
through the rooms and saw the various additions in
the shape of economic products &c. I wheeled
home going to No Ave bridge first. Distance to-day 12 1/2 m.
While at the Museum, I left my wheel at Charlie
Batchelder's. Letter from Rose — xxxxxx
I have just wheeled over to No. Ave. with my
landern on, and have called on Dr. Robinson's
where we had a nice long talk, especially
about J.A. [?] pranks. He imagines
insult. It is a long story. My 2000 m. are
accomplished within the year — I bought
my wheel last Mar. 18th and I
have still 4 days left —
