SAFETY The big problem for a Savings Bank is not how much money it can pay in interest to its Depositors BUT HOW SAFE THEIR SAVINGS CAN BE MADE

Why Mutual Savings Banks Are Safe

The Safety of your savings is most important. There is no safer place for them than a mutual Savings Bank

Because:

Four Distinct Reasons

1. Absolute safety of the princcipal is their very first consideration in investing your money.

2. Savings Banks are required to set aside a portion of their income as a guaranty fund for the protection of depositors.

3. The trustees, who are responsible for the management, are selected from capable business men who contribute their time and ability as a public service.

4. The banks are examined every year by expert accountants under the direction of the State Bank Commissioner.
