Miss Luville Devine, 193 Marion Street, Springfield, Mass.

Dear Lucille:

I have delayed answering your letter because we have bee very busy here, and overcrowded, too.

The one way you could here would be to fulfill the legal requir ments of the Drug Addict law, Section 68 Chapter 123. This requires the signature your attending physician and one other, a the approval of the court. Your doctor, course can take the paper to court witho your eppearing. Make sure you want to come and that you think it would be for your best welfare. As soon as you get w and strong I will put you on the farm to work. War needs have made our program in creasingly busy and serious. You know I share in this desire to sink all selfishn and weaknesses so that we may be fit to w the fight for freedom, the freedom which i the life-blood theme of Daniel Webster.

Good wishes,

Every sincerely your friend,
