Dear Mary:
Thank you sincerely for your letter to the Rangers, which came today. Unless it rains too hard we will go up to the far pastures tomorrow. Last week we cleared some brush around our camp ground. I am sure your letter will make the Rangers very happy.
I am sure I understand what you say about being lonesome, but soon you will make new friends and have many new interests.
I know you are going to succeed, and I wish you every happiness.
Sincerely yours,
Miriam Van Waters, Superintendent
