WEDNESDAY MARCH 24 Mrs. Slaton is 83 years old today. Jim, amelia, Joseph, John Marion, Evelyn, Edna, Albert, Lanna, Bobby, Jessie, aunt cattie, Ruby & Loyd, Mr. Willey Harpgood all came today. Lawrence & Jim came this afternoon & ate supper. We tocked my quilt today.

THURSDAY MARCH 25 Sis & I washed this morning. I hemmed 2 shirts and started binding my quilt this afternoon.

FRIDAY MARCH 26 Sis worked on her school book today. I ironed & made a cake, patched some socks & finished binding my flower garden quilt. Fletcher came tonight.

SATURDAY MARCH 27 I got dinner & made a gold cake. Earl Junior, Cornell, Rex & I went to town this afternoon & Cornell, June & I went to the show. Basil got married today.

SUNDAY MARCH 28 Easter Rex & I spent the day with monther & uncle Brock. We stopped in town a while this afternoon & I went to Jessie's.

MONDAY MARCH 29 I pieced some flowder garden blocks for the Missionary Society today & ripped up a dress Mother gave me. Evelyn came this afternoon.

TUESDAY MARCH 30 I helped do the general house work. I went over to Cousin Herb's this afternoon.

WEDNESDAY MARCH 31 Sis & I went to Mrs. Ed. Sisk to the Missionary metting today. I got a letter from Rudell.

THURSDAY APRIL 1 Sis & I washed today and I helped to do the general house work.

FRIDAY APRIL 2 I ironed today. I got a letter from Mother & she got a letter from Dr. Busby saying Dad is about the same physically bit not as well mentally.

SATURDAY APRIL 3 I wrote a letter to aunt Jannie & also Rudell. Sis wnet to Mary's tonight & will spend the night.

SUNDAY APRIL 4 I got breakfast & dinner & have done the general house work. Jim, Jessie, Mrs. Kene Brown, Mrs. Rudd, Joseph & James came this afternoon. Sis cam home this afternoon. I wrote a letter to mother.

MONDAY APRIL 5 Sis & I washed today. It rained today. iIembroidered some this afternoon & sewed some.

TUESDAY APRIL 6 I ironed this morning and made some soap this afternoon. Cornell came this afternoon. Bud Haywood's wife was taken to the hospital today & seriously ill. She has a baby boy.

WEDNESDAY APRIL 7 I helped do the general house work. Mr. Stone came this afternoon & will spend the night. Jannie isn't any better. I sewed some today. I went to Counsin Herb's a few minutes this afternoon & got some dand for my baby chickens.

THURSDAY APRIL 8 I got a letter from mother & she is getting along fairly well. I got a letter from Dr, Busby and he says Dad has improved some mentally but is about the same physically. Jannie is a little better.

FRIDAY APRIL 9 I wrote a letter to mother, aunt Jannie & Rudell. Cornell, Nellie & I walked up past the mines this afternoon. We got an announcement from Elizabeth & Joe Frank annoucing their baby's arrival. Her name is Wilma Jean.

SATURDAY APRIL 10 Basil, Earl, Joseph, Rex & I went to town this afternoon.

SUNDAY APRIL 11 I got dinner. Nora Lee, Evelyn, Amelia, Rex & I went to Miss Bessie Vannay's funeral & burial at Bethelham this afternoon.

MONDAY APRIL 12 Sis & I washed this morning & I fixed my white pigue coat this afternoon.
