SUNDAY MAY 23 Rex & I went to Uncle Rufe's this afternoon. Uncle Rufe and Aunt Gerorgie were the only ones there when he got there but Jimmy cam home before we left.
MONDAY MAY 24 I washed today and have done the general house work.

TUESDAY MAY 25 I ironed some this morning and went to Mrs. Rogers this afternoon.
WEDNESDAY MAY 26 I went with Rex as he went to work and went to Mr. Slaton's. Sis & I went to the missionary meeting at Elsie Hanner's today. Cornell came home with me & will spend the night. John Marion and Alma came tonight.

THURSDAY MAY 27 I finished ironing and have done the general house work.
FRIDAY MAY 28 I made a cake this morning and have done the general house work. I went to Mrs. Rogers this afternoon.

SATURDAY MAY 29 I went with Joe to Mr. Slaton's this afternoon. Joe went to town. Leona Cornell & I went to see Madelyn Sisk a little while also. We aimed to have gone to town tonight but our lights wouldn't burn so we didn't get to go.
SUNDAY MAY 30 Rex & I went to Mother's & Dad's this afternoon & he came home with us to stay a few days.

MONDAY MAY 31 I cleaned up the house and worked in the yard a little.
TUESDAY JUNE 1 I washed, Joe helped me wash. Mrs. Rogers & Marie came this afternoon.

WEDNESDAY JUNE 2 Dad, Nealie Gipson, Rex & I went to town this afternoon & we took Dad to Uncle Rufe's.
THURSDAY JUNE 3 I ironed this morning and worked in the yard this afternoon. It rained awful hard late this afternoon & is raining tonight.

FRIDAY JUNE 4 I have done the general house work. Worked a little in the yard & churned. Mrs. Nealie Gipson and her little boy and girl came this afternoon.
SATURDAY JUNE 5 Rex & I went to town today. It has rained today. Leona & I went to the show and had a right good time. Earl Junior came home with us. June, Rex, Joe & I played Rook tonight.

SUNDAY JUNE 6 Joe, Rex & I went to Miss Lora Kirkwood's mother's funeral at Liberty this afternoon. Rev. Anderson preached the funeral. June went home this afternoon. We went by Mr. Slaton's a little while.
MONDAY JUNE 7 I washed this morning. John Marion ate dinner with us. Rex & Mr. Adcock started on their tow today. I wrote Mother this afternoon & mended some of the clothes.

TUESDAY JUNE 8 I ironed today, chuned, finished mending the clothes and have done the general house work.
WEDNESDAY JUNE 9 I cleaned up the house have done the general house work and sewed a little.

THURSDAY JUNE 10 It rained last night. Rex went to town this afternoon and I went to Leona's. She wasn't home so I went to Mr. Slaton's. I went to Leona's late this afternoon, John Marion will spend the night with us.
FRIDAY JUNE 11 I made a cake & have done the general house work & cut weeds in the yard. Mr. & Mrs. William Rogers & Peachie came a while tonight. I got a letter from mother today.
