TUESDAY APRIL 13 Loyd, Jasper, Rex & I went to mother's this morning & got my things and took them to the Island. I ironed this afternoon and got a letter from mother.
WEDNESDAY APRIL 14 I have been packing my dishes and things getting ready to move to the Island. I wrote mother tonight.

THURSDAY APRIL 15 I have helped do the general house work. I went to the Island this afternoon with Rex & Joe & cleaned up one room.
FRIDAY APRIL 16 I have helped do the general house work. Jim & Jessie cam this afternoon. I went to Mrs. Merrill's this morning & got some flowers. I went to the Island this afternoon & swept one room & set out my flowers.

SATURDAY APRIL 17 Rex & I went to town today & I went to the show.
SUNDAY APRIL 18 I got breakfast & dinner. Joseph, Rex & I went to town this afternoon and I went to Jessie's

MONDAY APRIL 19 Rex & I moved to the Island today. Joseph will stay with us most of the time. Joseph, Dock & John Marion helped us move.
TUESDAY APRIL 20 I have been trying to get my clothes and dishes put in place and have done the general house work. I have been pretty lonesome today.

WEDNESDAY APRIL 21 It has rained today & I have been awful blue & lonesome. John Marion ate dinner with us.
THURSDAY APRIL 22 I washed today and tacked strips in the cracks in the wall of my bed room so I can paper the room.

FRIDAY APRIL 23 I ironed today and have been pretty lonesome. I got a letter from Mother. She went to see Dad Wednesday & he is some better.
SATURDAY APRIL 24 I papered a fire screen, made 2 pies and a cake. Mrs. Rogers, Peachie & Marie came this afternoon. Joseph, Earl Junior, Rex & I went to town tonight. June came home with us tonight.

SUNDAY APRIL 25 Basil came a while this morning. Rex & I went to chuch at Browders, went to Mother's this afternoon & went to Mrs. Slaton's a little while.
MONDAY APRIL 26 I started papering my bed room today & have done the general house work.

THURSDAY APRIL 29 I washed this morning. Mrs. Gipson, Edna, Albert all came this afternoon. William Rose came late this afternoon and will spend the night.
FRIDAY APRIL 30 I ironed and have done the general house work and papered a little this afternoon.

SATURDAY MAY 1 I finished paering my bed room, made a cherry up side down cake. Cornell, Joe, Rex & I went to town this afternoon. Cornell & I went to the show. It has rained awful hard all afternoon & Rex & I went to Mr. Slaton's & will spend the night.
SUNDAY MAY 2 It has rained nearly all day. Spent the day at Mr. Slaton's. Fletcher, Earl, Loyd & Joseph came to Mr. Slaton's this afternoon. Joseph, Rex & I came home this afternoon. We hung up and had to get the mules to pull us out.
