MONDAY MAY 3 I painted the ceiling in Joe's room & have done the general house work. John Marion ate dinner with us. I wrote a letter to mother and wrote Dr. Busby also. John will mail the letters for me.
TUESDAY MAY 4 I put the second coat of paint on Joe's room ceiling & have done the general house work. I pasted strips in the cracks in the wall this afternoon. John Marion ate dinner with us.

WEDNESDAY MAY 5 I have done the general house work and papered part of Joe's room. I run out of paper and can't finish until I get some more. John Marion ate dinner with us.
THURSDAY MAY 6 I washed, churned and have done the general house work. Earl Junior ate dinner with us. Dock, Earl and John Marion came a little while this afternoon.

FRIDAY MAY 7 I ironed this morning and have done the general house work. I mended the clothes this afternoon.
SATURDAY MAY 8 Rex & I walked to Mr. Slaton's this morning and I ate dinner with them. Rex forgot the car keys and had to come home to get them. We went to town this afternoon & I went to Mrs. Mann's a little while. We went Mr. Slaton's a little while late this afternoon before we came home.

SUNDAY MAY 9 Rex & I went t Mr. Slaton's this afternoon. Sis & I went to aunt Jessie's and Loyd's. Modest has felt real bad today. Rex & I played Rook tonight.
MONDAY MAY 10 I finished papering Joe's room and have done the general house work.

TUESDAY MAY 11 I washed this morning and went to see Mrs. Nealie Gipson this afternoon. Rex went to town today. Mr. Jess Ashby told him mother is going after Dad tomorrow. I am taking a bad cold.
WEDNESDAY MAY 12 I haven't felt well today but have ironed, churned and painted a fire screen today. I got a letter from mother & she is going after Dad today. Dr. Busby says his trouble is more physically than mentally now. He is better mentally.

THURSDAY MAY 13 I have felt real bad today. i varnished some of my furniture and have done the general house work. John Marion ate dinner with us. I wrote mother & got John Marion to mail the letter for me.
FRIDAY MAY 14 My cold is worse. I have done the general house work and enameled my iron bed.

SATURDAY MAY 15 Rex & I went to town today and he got some medicine from Dr. Ross for me. My cold isn't any better. I went to Jessie's and spent the afternoon.
SUNDAY MAY 16 Rex & I went to Mother's and Dad's and spent the day. We went to Mr. Slaton's a little while late this afternoon. We went to see Uncle Brock also. Mrs. Howard was at Mother's.

MONDAY MAY 17 I have cleaned up the house and have done the general house work. I have felt pretty bad today. I churned also.
TUESDAY MAY 18 My cold isn't any better. I went to town with Rex this afternoon. I wrote a letter to mother.

THURSDAY MAY 20 I washed this morning. Rex helped me a little. I went to see Mrs. Gipson a little while this afternoon.

SATURDAY MAY 22 I cleaned up the house, churned, got breakfast & dinner. Joe, Rex & I went to town tonight and I went to Jessie's.
