At a meeting of the Vestry of St. John's Church, held
in the Church in Monday evening , March 30; 189
Present: Rev: L.W. Boston, Rector, preiding, and
Messer, James W. Shields, John F. Mayer,
John A. Crintin, R. L. Brown, George L. Carrie,
[illegible], S. Maron, G. Gilaen Minor, B.F.
Howard and George K. Taylor.
Mess[en] George L. L Carrie and Thomas S. Macow of the
Vestry and Henry Grishaw were appointed to consul
and superintend the election of the Vestrymen -
After the ajournment of the meeting of the Gengrega
tion, the Vestrymen [illegible] having qualified, proceeded
to organize by the election of the following offices:-
W. James W Miles, Senior Warden
Byron Bossieux, Junior Warden
John F. Mayer, [illegible]
George K. Taylor, Register.
The following miracles of the Vestry were appointed
on the finance committee, towil: Messm. [Jason] W. Shields
Lynn Bossieux, John F. Mayer, Richard L. Brown, E.A.
Saunder and George K. Taylor; and Messm, James
W. Shields, Lynn Bossieux and George L. Carrie when
the committee of munic - W. E.A. Saunders was
appointed a delegat to the council of the Church
to be held int he city of Petersburg in May, 1891, and
[lapl] lynn Bossieux an [attesnat] -
On motion the meeting ajourned.
