resolution of dat. May 12. 1891.
Resolved also that the Register be requested to
notify the Bishop of the Diocese of his election
as required by 15 of Title I (1)
Whereas Miss Naunie M. Shieleds, who died
August 29. 1891, left a segment to St: John's of
an elegant solid solver chalice and paten, which
formerly belonged to an old James River Parish.
Therefore, be it resolved, that we, the Rector
and Vestry if St: John's do hereby acknowledge
to her sister, Miss Cornelia R. Shields, through
whin the presentation was made, our very
hearty gratitude and glad appreciation in new
of this most acceptable gift. We undertake to
case for these communion pieces as their value
deserves; and we also shall by their aid cherish
the memory of Miss Sheilds the donor, as a
faithful, devoted and lamented parishioner.

The Meeting was opened with prayer; the minutes
of the last meeting were read and approved
There being no business ready to be transacted,
on motion, the meeting adjourned
