The following preamble and resolution were then
unanimonily adopted
The vestry of St: John's gratefully acknowledges
the generous cooperation and efficient
aid of St: John's Brotherhood is conducting the
mission connected with St: John's Church.
H respectfully communicates the collowing
resolution and explanatory finaincial statement
H earnestly asks the Brotherhood to assume
the temporal management of Weddell Memorial,
on the basis of the accompanyting expense
estimate. The addition to the sums raised
by the assistant Minister and Weddell
Memorial congregation and Sunday School
and also in addition to such sums as may
be raised by what are called "Mission pledges"
is St: Joghn's congregation, the vestry undertakes
to pay to the Brotherhood the sum of $225. for
the year beginning February 1st 1892. is
necessary.
Resolved, that the salary of the Rev. G.R.
Kiryk, as assistant minister of St: John's
Chruch, be at the rate of 800 per annum
payable monthly, from Febriraru 1st 1892,
it being understood that he and the congregation
of Weddell Memorial Chapel will undertake
to raise of the sum 200; and that they
will also undertake to pay the current
regular expenses of both tthe congregation
and the Sunday-School, including their proportion
of the contingent fund.
Resolved, that the sum of six dollars and
fifty five cents be appropriated for the perchance
of a sarphice.
On behalf of the finance committee the
Rector presented an appeal for Easter Offerings
to remove the indebtedness of 780- [illegible]
the Church; he also states that it was the serve
of the finance committee that an appeal
