Dear Madam;

By vote of the Trustees I am instructed to do no work on any lot until all charges for previous years have been paid. As there is a bill of five dollars (5.00) still due for work of 1889 the lot has not been put in order or cared for thus far.

#1229-S

Geo. J. Blaisdell, Esq., Cambridge.

Dear Sir: -

The cost of raising and resodding the grave of George E. Richardson will be $3.00. The cost of plumbing the headstone marked Mother will be $2.00, but to make a permanent job the stone should have a foundation built under it.

The whole of the sod needs to be renewed, it might be spaded up enriched and sown with grass seed.

Respectfully yours,

Supt.

A. M. Raymond, Esq., Charlestown.

Dear Sir: -

The cost of painting the fence on your lot with one coat of asphaltum will be eight dollars ($8.00).

Respectfully yours,

Supt.

#2342-S

Mrs. Silas L. Morse,

Melrose Highlands

Dear Madam: -

The cost of regrading and sodding lot #2342 will be forty eight dollars ($48.00). If the lot is regraded and sown with grass seed the expense will be thirty five dollars ($35.00).

To set the stones plumb will cost five dollars ($5.00). Some of the stones appear to be without proper foundations under them, and to make the work permanent these should be built. The number wanted and the cost can only be known by digging down.

There are several extra granite posts which are not needed and as they break up the sod I would advise that they be removed leaving only the four at the corners to mark the boundaries, which can be done for the old stone.

If the improvements are made I think the tree might come away.

Respectfully yours,

Supt.

Mrs. M.N. Prescott, W. Somerville

Dear Madam: -

To repair and resod the banks in front of your lot will cost $20.00. The sod will not do well under so much shade.

Respectfully yours,

#2916-S

Mrs. M. Rand Boston.

Dear Madam: -

The cost of removing all the myrtle from your lot and regrading and sodding will be $45.00. If the best of the sod is used to sod around the open grave of Eunice Stone and the lot spaded up enriched and sown with grass seed the expense will be $30.00

Respectfully yours,

Supt.
