Last night when we came back from liberty,
whenich was 9:00 o'clock, we had a big feed. We didin't
come back for show because we knew we were
going have plenty to eat at the Office. Here is what
we had - Baked turkey, cranberry sauce, peach pie,
bread nad coffee. Yesterday we had about a 12
pound turkey and peach pie given us. All we had
to do was bring the turkey over all cooked and
ready to eat. It sure was a dandy and was it
good. I ate three big white meat sandwiches
how is that? When we finished there was nothing left
but the bones. Don't you think we are doing alright?
We still have our friends tou know and they are
nice to have for I still like to eat.

The fruit cake was fine and so moist. What did
you do soak it in wine. It sure was good and we
have been enjoying it so much. I was surprised to find
it as moist as it was. It looked as if some one had just
pored wine over it. The cherries in it were nice and
juicy, well you just couldn't beat it. Thank you so
much for sending it.
