Mr. Jon. [Kennifick?]

Your letter rec’d
of the 22th and I am sorry
to hear that you have not got
any Eggs yet - it may be
known that during the
circumstances of October, a
large sum of fish may come
on the shoals and you will
get a lot of Eggs - You must
not rely on doing any work
at Pigeon Island after the 31st
as no permits will be [noted?]
for -- Your presence with others
also will be required at
Wiarton as the frequency of

he will go off and join you
at Wiarton -- It is therefore
necessary that you should
quit Pigeon Island on time
to check this first ripe fish at
Wiarton about the beginning
of November -- Charly may not
be able to get there for [Gomelette?]
him after -- Gauthier writes
