MEMORANDUM:
The Protector of Aboriginals, Maryborough, has reported to this Office that Herbert Dunn of your Settlement was arrested for being in possession of liquor in contravention of Section 19 of "The Aboriginals Protection Acts". Advice has now been received from the Prisons Department which shows that Dunn was admitted to the Brisbane Prisons and is due for discharge on the 8th February, 1938.
In perusing the Protector's report it is noted that (Page torn)

"Moiomunda" meaning "More Bread." "Knutinu" meaning "Near or Beside the Water." "Burrum Ho" meaning "On a Hill."

MEMORANDUM:
I have to acknowledge the receipt of fancy work forwarded from your School as per attached list, which has been signed.
I wish to point out that one cloth valued at 5/6 was received and does not appear to be listed.
As mentioned in previous communications the articles are required for a display being conducted by the Government Tourist Bureau on behalf of the Department for the purpose of exhibiting the works of art of aboriginals in Queensland.
