Cloudy day: Louisa Pleasants came here in the
morning. William got home about 8 oclock.

18th 6th day
Cloudy most of the day, a little rain in the morning:
Lucy came home from his visit to the manor
and Kennards: father came home from Avondale.

19th 7th day
Clear day: father took Louisa Pleasants and me to Riverside,
and went for us in the afternoon, took her
on to Uncle Samuels. Lucy and I went to Alben
Gilpins after supper: Alban Thomas surveying for
father at Ingleside in the afternoon.

20th 1st day
Tolerably fair day: a slight shower in the evening
no one here to dinner: William took me to Sharon
after an early supper, then went to Plainfield.

21st
Clear and very warm: I got home from Sharon
before dinne: father went to Washington: the boys
