Cloudy most of the day with some rain: father at
Uncle Samuels in the morning. Joe hauling saw logs
in the morning

Clear and cold. No one here all day, William at Harewood
to supper, Joe and I there after supper.

22d 2d day
Clear day: father went to Frank to
clean his clock: William took mother to Uncle Samuels
in the afternoon, and left her there: he went
to Atholwood after supper: Joe hauling wood.

23d 3d day
Cloudy all day: snowed most of the day: father
went to Rockville: William went to Uncle Samuels
for mother in the afternoon; he went to the Lyceum
after supper to a lecture by Edward Parrish of Philadelphia
