28 1st day
Cloudy and cold: at meetin: William went to Baltimore
in the afternoon [Eliza?] Towers and Ben Palmer
came for Fannie Adams: Uncle Charle and Aunt
Jane called for Lucy, after supper, to go home with
them: Father at Benn Millers afer supper: Gilpin
here: A rather better day than yesterday, not so
inpatient, tho' almost gave way in the evening.
29th 2d day
Cloudy most of the day, with some snow; father
went to Avondale in the afternoon: Joe went to
Oakland.
30th 3d day
Cloudy and foggy all day, cleared off after sun set,
father got home before 5 oclock. William came home
in the evening. Aunt Polly went to Willow Grove to dinner
31st 4th day
Clear and windy. father started for Baltimore in
the afternoon: Lucy came home from meeting, she
and I went to see Gennie home after supper William
at Uncle E. Thomas's in the evening.
