The Enterprise Club 1245th Meeting Sept 18, 1971

Jos E H (Tim) Connor was host for the 1245th meeting of the Club on Sept 18, 1971, one week late in order to avoid conflict with the annual Lions Club Horse Show. The change in date gave us a beautiful summer like evening instead of the very wet late evening of the previous week. The Lions had lucked out with clear weather during the middle of the day [?] We met at Tim's father's home + inspected the various livestock. We noted 32 ewes, 21 lambs, 1 ram, 2 ponies, 13 Angus Cows, 14 calves 1 bull, Geese, Guina Keets + chickens. The wet season had provided so much grass that the cows would not come to us when we called but they did remain quiet while we walked to them. We next moved to Tim's attractive home where we were served very excellent refreshement + a fine dinner
