For he cannot conquer anyone except the one who
consents to his power. If someone wants to act well,
evil cannot destroy him nor have any effect that
that would give him reason to grieve, so long as
he wishes to turn to the good. And of this one can

he overcomes them and takes them into evildoing, from which
he leads them into perdition where they will never be
without pain, nor will they ever have joy or goodness,
