His love for the University is great and his descriptions of the place were such that his companions are not contented any more with home institutions and are looking forward to another

year when they will enter the University. Surely when you think of this magnificent gift to the young, there must be a satisfied feeling that your life has not been an empty one! Oh! the youth on youth that will be born to praise and love the dear trio of names that are forever to be associated with the institution.
I had a letter from Mrs Menoral some days ago. Captain had

been ordered to the Norfolk Navy Yard and consequently Mrs Menoral was feeling quite miserable about packing up her home in Washington.
She had been in London so long that she was anxious to get settled in her home, and she had been in it but a few weeks when the Captain got his orders.
