Sunday 7th. Mr. Bushby conducted morng services Mr. McDonald afternoon ditto Mr. Hartley evening ditto The Matron & officers went to their usual services Monday 8th. Nothing of importance to record Tuesday 9th. Very wet no Committee. Wednesday 5 pupils 10th. Pauline Rose brought by her Mother and Sister Harriet. Thursday 7 pupils 11th. Mr. Jordan conducted evening service. Friday 6 pupils 12th. Revd. C. F. Garnsey conducted service. Saturday 8 pupils 13th. Sub-Matron & Laundress out for the afternoon & evening. Sunday 14th. Mr. Fletcher conducted morng. service Mr. Macdonald afternoon ditto Mr. Foy evening ditto Ellen Hyde asked admission and was received, the Matron and Officers out to their usual services.

Monday 6 pupils 15th. A very wet day

Tuesday 16th. Ladies Sub Committee Pauline Rose & Ellen Hyde admitted. Wednesday 6 pupils 17th. Mr. Smith conducted evening services 7 pupils

Thursday 18th. Nothing of importance to record Friday 6 pupils 19th. Mr. C. F. Garnsey conducted service Saturday 8 pupils 20th. Teacher out for the afternoon & evening A Policeman brought a girl (who had given herself up for protection) to the Refuge asking that she may remain the night - as their lockup was full of the worst characters. Sunday 21st. A very wet day, Teacher out all day. Monday 22nd Weather still wet. Ellen Hyde very quarrelsome struck one woman and when brought away from the Laundry demanded her clothes threatening if she did not go out she would smash every thing before her, they were given to her and she went away. Tuesday 5 pupils 23rd. Ladies Sub Committee Emma Hudson's case considered. Miss Williams instructed to find her Parents and Report upon the case. Wednesday 5 pupils 24th Mr. Maxted sent Caroline Bird to be received. Mr. Mills conducted evening service. Friday 6 pupils 25th. Mr. Alfred Cook conducted eveng service 8 pupils

Caroline Bird admitted Jessie Thompson went away no persuasion could prevent her Nelly Tippin nee Johnson an old inmate asked admittance and was received. Wednesday 10 pupils July 1st. Mr. Henderson C.M conducted eveng service Thursday 10 pupils 2nd. Mr. Fletcher conducted eveng. service Friday 9 pupils 3rd. Revd. C. F. Garnsey conducted service Saturday 7 pupils 4th. Emma Hudson or Booker taken away by her Mother and a Policeman Teacher out for the afternoon & eveng.

M A Joy asked to leave the Institution she was persuaded to write to her friend first and if she did not receive an answer she could then act as she desired Wednesday 8 pupils 8th. Mrs Goodlet called Thursday 8 pupils 9th Mr. Jordan conducted eveng. service Friday 7 pupils 10th. Revd. C. F. Garnsey conducted serevice Saturday pupils 11th. Sub Matron & Laundress out for afternoon Sunday 12th. Mr. Bourne conducted morn. service Mr. Armstrong afternoon ditto Mr Wilson evening ditto Matron & Officer out to their usual service Monday 13th. Mrs. Williams brought Fanny Smith to be received. The Matron discharged Emily Donnelly for refusing to work and inciting others to act in the same way & using foul language.

1891 Monday Louisa Garland gone as general servant to Mrs. Bowles of Kogarah at 8/- per week, taken by Teacher. Tuesday no pupils 14th Ladies Sub Committee Fanny Smith admitted. Wednesday 5 pupils 15th. Dr. Norrie visited & prescribed for Jane Fletcher, Agnes Ping & Margt Fletcher. Mr. Freeland conducted eveng service. Thursday 6 pupils 16th Gentleman's Committee to pass quarterly accounts. Mrs. Williams took Fanny Smith to the Hospital for treatment. Mr. Rowsell conducted eveng service. Friday 7 pupils 17th. Revd. C. F. Garnsey conducted service. Saturday 7 pupils 18th Mary Cameron taken to the Hospital to see her Father who is seriously ill not expected to recover. Matron & Teacher out for the afternoon. Sunday 19th. Mr. Torning conducted morning service Mrs. McDonald afternoon ditto Mr. Fitzmaurice evening ditto Matron & Officer out to their usual services. Monday 20th Nothing of importance to record Tuesday 7 pupils 21st Ladies Sub Committee Agnes Orne & Elizabeth Bickmore spoken to upon situations being provided them 7 pupils
