[Left: Sun 5] The Wind is still blowing from the S. E. & not quite so high
[Left: Wm Ball] as yesterday Some little clouds passing
William rode the ball horse went to Jo Moores in Fountain Creek
got back at night. I was all day alone all the blacks went off
[Left: Self] to meeting &c I was not well and verry lonesome & a little hipoed
I suppose. My attention was called by George Hargroes to the
[Left: Ball horse] fact that the ball horses eyes would get well after the change
of the moon The Moon changed the 4th Inst & today it is
[Left: Moon]
better I see on the 6th his eyes looks quite well, I must

The Morning is dark cloudy & thundering & calm It has been
raining nearly all night slowly & looks like raining more.
William was a little pestered this morning to get a horse to
ride to Town he at last rode Mags little poney Mare he got
up the sorrel Stud Colt & got on him thought he would be too
[Left: Mag] unmanagable & left him & got on the other the poney. Mag has
not got back from Lawrence yet. John worked in garden. The
Circuit Cort Commenced its Session today Judge Ward presiding

The morning is clear & quite cool the Wind in N.
William rode the black Mare to Town
The Circuit Court is in Session Judge Ward presiding The Court
has taken up the Scribner & Fitzpatrick Mill case. Mag has not
[Left: Mag Hunters] got back. I heard shooting in the lott Saw 2 dogs after the
