Morning lively snowstorm -- 6 inch -- Wife & I went to reno -- all right there -- & no snow there or in Carson -- Same Va snow across Washoe Valley -- Excursion train from Carson took down over 50 to the Jerry Schooling funeral -- which was a big one

Cloudy & threatening -- cold and raw -- Morning train for Carson -- Went to Dr Southworth & had 2 more teeth filled on the left side of mouth -- Reported Legislature as usual -- Evening train to Va -- Finished my report at room -- Also wrote item obituary of "Salem" Andresw an old 49'er, Comstocker etc -- old sport, here -- His
